
Section 7: Practice Exercises
Use these practice exercises to become familiar with Macromedia Dreamweaver MX 2004. If you do not yet have a copy of Dreamweaver, you can download a demo version from Macromedia.com.
1. Create a new webpage.
2. Insert a 3 column, 1 row table.
3. Change the width of the first column to 200 pixels and the third column to 250 pixels. Leave the middle column width blank.
4. Insert graphics and text into each of the three columns. Preview the page (press F12).
5. Create a new webpage.
6. Insert a 3 column table using the layout mode.
7. Insert a 200px by 200px layer onto the webpage.
Congratulations! You have learned how to work with Page Layout Using Tables, Layers, and CSS in Macromedia Dreamweaver. Continue on to Section 8 to learn about Working with Templates and Libraries in Dreamweaver.
