
Section 5: Practice Exercises
Use these practice exercises to become familiar with Macromedia Dreamweaver MX 2004. If you do not yet have a copy of Dreamweaver, you can download a demo version from Macromedia.com.
1. Create a new web page or open an existing one.
2. Type in a paragraph describing your house. Select the text and change the font to Courier New, Courier, mono using the Properties Inspector tab at the bottom.
3. Change the first word of each sentence to bold by selecting it and clicking the B in the Properties Inspector.
4. Create a new CSS style called "housetitle". Set this style to Verdana and 14 pt size.
5. Create a title before the paragraph of text about your house and select it. Choose the housetitle style from the Properties Inspector.
6. Create and save a CSS styles sheet.
