Uploading a Web Page
Use the Files panel to upload web pages to your web server. If you haven't yet defined the remote information (the information that Dreamweaver needs to access your web server), do it now by selecting Manage Sites from the drop-down menu in the Files panel, and then highlighting your site and clicking Edit in the Manage Sites dialog.
In the Site Definition wizard, click the Advanced tab and highlight Remote Info to display the fields you need to complete. Much of the information you enter here is provided by your Internet Service Provider when you register for a web hosting account.

When you've finished, click OK, and then click Done in the Manage Sites dialog to close the window.
To upload a web page:
- In the Files panel, highlight the file you want to upload.
- Click the Put Files
button.
Dreamweaver asks if you want to include the file's dependencies. Dependencies are those files, such as images or style sheets, that the web page requires in order to be displayed properly. If you haven't yet uploaded these files to the server, click Yes.
Dreamweaver uploads the files and its dependencies, using the same directory structure you've defined in the Files panel, and creating subdirectories when necessary. To view the files on your web server, simply select Remote view from the drop-down menu in the Files panel.
You can upload your entire web site the same way: simply highlight the root folder in the Files panel, rather than a single file. If you've previously uploaded the site, or some site files, Dreamweaver may ask you if you want to overwrite the files currently on the server.
