Do you want to quit smoking? Have you been having difficulties quitting?

Following these steps can help you quit smoking and reach your goals.

1. Write down your goals.

Write down your goals of quitting smoking. There is nothing more powerful when you are trying to achieve something than writing down your goals.

2. Don't smoke even one cigarette!

Reducing the number of cigarettes you smoke will never produce success. Even if you limit the number of cigarettes, eventually, you will return to smoking more.

3. It will take effort!

It will take effort to stop smoking! Nicotine is habit forming and it will take effort to stop using it. You need to know it may take time and you may suffer side effects (headaches, crankiness, etc).

4. Get help.

There are support groups that can help. You don't need to achieve this goal alone, find a local support group to help.
