Cut

The "Cut" command is used to remove information (text, graphics) from the document that you are working on. The information is then stored on the clipboard, ready to be pasted in another place.

If you do not want the information to be removed, but you wish it to appear in another place on your document, use the "copy" command instead of "cut."
