Check spelling

To check the spelling in your publication:

1. To spell-check only a specific object, like a text box or table, select the object. Otherwise, skip this step.
2. From the Tools menu, select Spelling, and then Spelling again from the submenu.

If there are any misspellings, the Check Spelling dialog opens.

3. The dialog displays the first misspelled word. To replace the word, select one of the suggestions from the list, or type the correct spelling into the Change to field. Then click Change.

If the word is spelled correctly but Publisher just doesn't recognize it, click Ignore, or Add to add the word to the dictionary. When you add a word to the dictionary, Publisher will check subsequent spellings of the word against the entry in the dictionary.

Publisher moves to the next misspelled word.

When Publisher has finished checking the spelling, click OK.
