Adjusting Table Properties
As with other Dreamweaver elements, you can adjust the properties of a table by entering new values into the fields in the Property Inspector. You can also adjust the size of rows and columns by dragging at the edges.
To insert a new row or column, place the cursor inside a cell and from the Modify menu select Table, and then Insert Row or Insert Column.
To merge cells, select the cells you want to merge, and from Modify menu, select Table, and then Merge Cells.
Tip:
When you place the cursor inside a table cell, Dreamweaver displays a table header showing the width of each column and containing buttons that open pop-up menus. The pop-up menus provide shortcuts for selecting and inserting columns and adjusting heights and widths.
When you adjust the width of a column by dragging its borders, Dreamweaver changes the numbers displayed in the table header, helping you to make precise adjustments.
